As aTourist guide, sometimes you hve no choice but helping the tourists to exchange money to Malaysia Ringgit. This is especially true if those tourists donot mange to communicate in any of the local langguage.
Today, I took a group from Vietnam. An old ldy want to exchange USD to Ringgit Malysia (RM). She gave me 5US peper note and 5US coin. Even though I had told her that coins are not usable and not exchangeable in Malaysia, she insited.
Finally, decide to just change for her as a matter of charity.
